COVID 19 precautions

At Cortijo Sabila we take hygiene very seriously. We are implementing special COVID-19 precautions alongside our normal high hygiene and standards, which have always been a critical part of our successful operation.

We have never served buffet style breakfasts or banquets. All our food is freshly prepared from local ingredients and served at guests’ tables.

We wash all our bed linen and towels at 90 degrees which is over and above the recommended 60 degrees and each room is loaded into the machine and stored individually pre-wash.

All knick knacks and ornaments in the room are washed thoroughly between guests and all light switches, plugs, switches and remote controls are wiped with a recommended solution
each day.
Our swimming pool excels in hygiene standards and we have closed the jacuzzi as although this meets the hygiene standards, as it is heated, we prefer not to have this operational during the
pandemic.

Social distancing is never a problem with only 8 rooms and ample terraces and gardens. All our terraces and the pool area are washed down daily to ensure they are spotlessly clean.

We have invested in additional sunbed cushion covers and these are detached and washed each day as an added precaution and pool towels are supplied.

Our normal self-service “honesty” bar has been replaced by a “call for service” to avoid anyone using the fridge and area without appropriate precautions.
