“Escape to the hills

On Saturday 3 Oct 2020 we celebrated my 60th birthday which consisted of relaxing around the pool area all day taking in views of the mountains and surrounding countryside. Yvonne, prepared us a light lunch to eat around the pool. We had gin and tonic in a beautiful lounge before going into the dining room for my birthday meal which was a goats cheese filo parcel, steak topped with pate and caramelised onions, courgette shavings and potatoe rosti, red velvet cake with strawberries with a lovely bottle of the house wine. There was a choice of menu and it costs 30 euro per person which is a small price to pay for a fine dining experience. The next day was more of the same lounging around the pool, soaking up the sunshine with another light lunch. We enjoyed our breakfast too, lots of choice, my husband and I both had omelette. This place is a safe haven, if the sun is shining, get away from it all, escape to the hills and relax. Ideal place for a family celebration too.

Tout était parfait. Bien au delà de nos attentes! La maison est sublime, avec une magnifique décoration. Notre chambre était décorée avec énormément de goût, une grande salle de bain avec tout le confort nécessaire. Yvonne est une hôte très attentive et charmante. Le petit déjeuner, un délice ! Des vues impressionnantes sur la montagne, bref, un sans faute!

Translation – Everything was perfect. Well beyond our expectations! The house is sublime, with beautiful decoration. Our room was decorated with a lot of taste, a large bathroom with all the necessary comfort. Yvonne is a very attentive and charming host. The breakfast, a delight!
