Andalucia autumn colours and flavours

There was something serene and quiet when we went for our morning walk with the dogs in the mist this morning. This is the Andalucia autumn…so different to Summer but we welcome the coolness and changing landscape all around us. Some of the best sunsets arrive this month. And we never know quite what weather we will get. This morning we were treated to such vibrant  colours of red, yellow and green against the white backdrop we wanted to share them.

We managed to grab this photo and think it’s so magical showing Andalucia autumn colours in all their loveliness.

And whilst we were out there we also picked some pomegranates from our tree. From garden to table in 3 minutes. Lucky guests – you don’t get much fresher or local than that!

And we thought it’s all wrapped up perfectly with this gorgeous bouquet used in a recent wedding photo shoot here. A trio of autumnal awesomeness!

A lot of people want to come to Andalucia in the sun, but high season is hot and busy. At this time of year we get a mixture of gentle sun, blue skies and more typical autumnal weather. But there’s less people around, so you get to explore Granada and Cordoba sights in relative peace.

And you can curl up in front of our big fire in the evening with a glass of red or a G & T if you want in our lounge. There’s a real beauty of visiting Andalucia in autumn. And flights are a fraction of the price.
